The Adler School’s upcoming move to a new Chicago home will be transformational in every sense. We will double the size of our current campus, and we will position the School near leading institutions of education, commerce, culture, and social and political policy.
In the past six years, we have more than doubled our total student enrollment, we have introduced several new degree programs and two new Institutes for Social Change, and we have been joined in our work by many new and valuable community partners. Our new campus will continue that trajectory of growth and will allow us to teach and learn in an environment that reflects—and advances— the values of our learning community: innovation, excellence, and collaboration.
It is the kind of space that encourages progressive thought and the best of graduate education. It is also the kind of space that reflects our fundamental belief that psychology’s greatest benefits occur when the profession is practiced in collaboration with the communities it serves.
I invite every member of the Adler School learning community—past, present, and future—to join in celebrating this milestone achievement, which will allow us to continue the School’s pioneering work at the forefront of socially responsible practice, advocacy, and action.
